Exceptional times call for exceptional solutions, so the healthcare organization did something unusual: it asked its staff members to help assemble and package the masks. Such an out-of-the-box production project needed many volunteers and Mayo Clinic staff quickly stepped up to assemble the shields for their peers.
As Mayo Clinic’s logistics partner, MedSpeeders from our Rochester location transported the shields from Pepin Manufacturing to the volunteers and then delivered them to the points of care for clinical use.
