MedSpeeders Coming Together to Better Their Communities
By Angie Gray, CHRO
In April, we proudly announced our initiative called “23 Acts of Service” in honor of our 23rd anniversary. Our goal as a team is to perform at least 23 volunteer and charity initiatives that give back to our communities before our next anniversary.
Giving back to the communities where we live, work and serve is a part of our DNA, and it has never been more important. In this week of Thanksgiving, it is appropriate to give thanks to the hundreds of MedSpeeders who have given their time, helping us reach 65% of the goal.
It has been a true highlight of this year to participate and hear about our team’s charity efforts. There are so many great stories of MedSpeeders serving at food banks, collecting groceries for families in need, donating time to clean up a local forest preserve, and collecting books and school supplies for children. Our people care, and it shows!
Thank you specifically to our team members in Dallas, Chattanooga, Charlotte, Milwaukee, Baltimore, Elmhurst, Eau Claire, Detroit, New Hope, Eden Prairie, and Raleigh. Our support teams in Finance, HR, and Commercial have also made significant contributions.
With a team of 3,000 that expands across 32 states and 100 different hubs, it feels great to work as “one team” to give back to the communities. With over five months left, we look forward to seeing which future opportunities MedSpeeders will part take in. There are so many great organizations that need our time and support.
We are so grateful for your hard work. Let’s finish the “23 Acts of Service” challenge strong!
