MedSpeeder Takes Extra Precaution to Deliver X-ray Machine

In mid-December, one of MedSpeed’s health system customers needed a very delicate X-ray machine that was valued at over $500,000 transported from the biomed department at a hospital to a pain management facility.

Jaime Hubbard, MedSpeed’s Operations Supervisor out of Williamsport, PA, knew Stacy Martin would be the right Logistics Service Representative (MedSpeed’s term for our drivers) for this job. Stacy has been with MedSpeed since October 1, 2021. In that time, he has been a great asset to the team and has always been willing to help our customers, no matter the distance or time.

Stacy had no problem taking on this task. He carefully loaded the X-ray machine into the truck, maintained clear communication with the MedSpeed supervisor team during each step, drove slowly with the hazards on due to the value of the item, and carefully unloaded the machine at the destination.

The customer was very impressed, and they thanked him for being so attentive, “I just wanted to let you know the gentleman who helped us did a great job and was very conscientious about making sure the unit was properly secured in the truck for safe transport.”
