Celebrating by Giving Back
By Angie Gray, CHRO
Since we first opened our doors in 2000, MedSpeed has always been part of the communities we serve. We understand that our work impacts our fellow community members, and we take pride in helping our neighbors daily.
As Jake mentioned, MedSpeed is turning 23 this week. In honor of that celebration, I’m pleased to share that we have decided to embark on a new initiative called “23 Acts of Service”. We have challenged our team to perform at least 23 volunteer and charity initiatives that give back to our communities before next year’s anniversary. These could include anything from your team participating in a volunteer day, hosting a canned food drive, or giving your time to a local charity you are passionate about. Most importantly, you and your fellow team members can take this opportunity to give back to the community.
Our MedSpeed team includes over 3,000 MedSpeeders in over 100 hubs across 32 states. While our team has grown significantly over these 23 years, we wanted to highlight our core value of working together as “one team” towards a common goal. MedSpeeders across the country will have opportunities to participate in this important initiative.
We pride ourselves on being active members of our communities, especially through our sustainability and safety procedures. The HR team and I look forward to partnering with a local organization to support a great cause. We can’t wait to see how other MedSpeeders will embrace this initiative to serve others.
We will post updates on reaching our 23 Acts of Service goal throughout the year, so stay tuned!
