MedSpeed recently distributed a press release announcing our newly created chief information officer (CIO) role. Our new CIO, Jim Van Duyn, was promoted from within MedSpeed and is responsible for our company-wide IT strategy and management.
MedSpeed is not a technology company but technology plays an important role in enabling us to deliver innovative logistics solutions. To that end, we continually make investments to better empower our healthcare clients to standardize and centralize operations and use logistics as an asset to drive efficiency and improve patient care.
Jim and his team are already playing an integral role in the development of our 4th generation technology platform to transform the way we service our clients and help them get new value from their logistics operations. We couldn’t be more excited about our future and the role our market-leading technology is going to play to help us get there.
